the handle drop is perfect for crooking it on my arm, more structured than a shoulder bag. the pu leather is smooth without that plasticky sheen. got the blue and its a deep rich shade. used it crossbody at the farmers market and switched to handbag for dinner. wish it had a zip closure instead of the open top
